Grand National (course hippique)
Le Grand National est une course hippique de steeple-chase se tenant en Angleterre chaque année depuis 1836, sauf entre 1941 et 1945. Cette épreuve qui se tient à Aintree (Liverpool) génère les plus importants paris au Royaume-Uni. Le Grand National est également sujet à controverses en raison de la difficulté du parcours occasionnant de nombreux accidents. Certaines sociétés de protection des animaux militent pour son interdiction.
