AXA Center

Le AXA Center, qui portait à l'origine le nom d'Equitable Center, est un gratte-ciel de New York. Il mesure 226 mètres et comporte 54 étages. Sa construction remonte à 1986. Elle abrite un des deux sièges de la compagnie d'assurances française AXA. Le bâtiment est situé sur la septième avenue, au numéro 787. La compagnie AXA possède à la fois son siège social à New York, et à Paris dans le quartier de la Défense. La Tour AXA de la Défense devrait être agrandie, et culminer à 225 mètres, ce qui la rapprochera de son homologue. Cette nouvelle tour deviendrait ainsi la plus grande tour de France.

Une fresque du peintre pop-art Roy Lichtenstein intitulée Mural with Blue Brushstroke et datant de 1986, année de la construction de l'immeuble, est exposée dans l'atrium de l'immeuble.
