Episode est le cinquième album du groupe finlandais de power metal Stratovarius. On remarque que toutes les chansons de cet album sont en rapport avec le temps.
Toutes les chansons ont été composées par Timo Tolkki exceptée "Uncertainty" qui est de Timo Kotipelto.
Malgré la qualité du disque, Il faut noter les emprunts voire les plagiats de certaines chansons d' Yngwie Malmsteen. Par exemple l'intro de "Eternity" n'est pas sans rappeler "Devil in Disguise" de l'album Eclipse sorti 6 ans plus tôt.
