Le district du nord (en hébreu: מחוז הצפון, mehoz hatzafon), est un des six districts israélien. Sa superficie est de 3 324 km² auxquels il faut ajouter 1 154 km² pour le Golan pour une superficie totale de 4 478 km². La capitale et la plus grande ville est Nazareth.
Le Golan est administré comme un sous-district du district nord [1] depuis 1981 bien que cette annexion du Golan de facto ne soit pas reconnue internationalement et a été invalidée par la résolution 497 du Conseil de sécurité des Nations unies.

En 2005, [1] la population du district était composée comme suit:
