Biographie
Devin Copeland a commencé sa carrière avec la "Odd Squad", un groupe de rappeurs signé sous le label "Rap-A-Lot Records". À partir de 1998, il entreprend sa carrière solo en lançant le disque The Dude. Au total, il a lancé 5 CD solos: The Dude (1998), Just Tryin' ta Live (2002), To tha X-Treme (2004), Waitin' to Inhale (2007), et Landing Gear (2008).
Devin the Dude a fait partie de la méga-tournée hip-hop de Dr.Dre pour son CD "Chronics 2001", "The Up in Smoke Tour" qui s'est déroulée entre juin et août 2000.
En 2005 le New York Times a écrit que son album "To Tha X-Treme" était brillant.[1]
