Rachel Atherton (né le 6 décembre 1987) est une coureuse cycliste britannique. Spécialiste de la descente en VTT, elle a été championne du monde de cette discipline en 2008 et 2011 et a remporté la Coupe du monde en 2008.

En janvier 2009, elle est renversée par un véhicule pendant un entraînement avec ses frères Gee et Dan Atherton qui sont également vététistes professionnels[1]. Blessée à l'épaule, elle doit subir une greffe de nerf et renonce à courir en compétition en 2009[2],[3].
