Le pistacia palaestina est une variété de pistachier térébinthe, dont il se distingue par ses feuilles de forme ovale. Cet arbuste de la famille des Anacardiacées est commun aux régions du Levant, comme la Syrie, Israël ou la Palestine. Il est appelé aussi térébinthe.
