Edwin Seroussi

Edwin Seroussi (né le 26 décembre 1952 à Montevideo) est un musicologue israélien d'origine uruguayenne.

Biographie

Edwin Seroussi s'établit en Israël in 1971. Il est professeur de musicologie et directeur du Centre de recherche de musique juive de l' Université hébraïque de Jérusalem. Ses sujets de recherches incluent aussi bien les traditions musicales juives d'Afrique du Nord et du Moyen Orient que la musique populaire israélienne.
