L'Organisation européenne pour l'équipement de l'aviation civile (EUROCAE, acronyme de EURopean Organisation for Civil Aviation Equipment) est un organisme européen qui fédère les acteurs du domaine de l'aviation civile afin d'établir des règles de standardisation des systèmes utilisés par l'aviation civile en Europe[1].
Cette organisation travaille en étroite collaboration avec l' organisation équivalente aux États-Unis (RTCA (en))[Note 1], ainsi qu'avec le Comité européen de normalisation[2].

Statut juridique
Fondée le 24 avril 1963 et internationale par ses membres l'Organisation est, du point de vue juridique, française en tant qu'association loi de 1901. C'est une organisation à but non lucratif.
Le siège de l'association se situe en France, au sud de Paris, à Malakoff dans le département des Hauts-de-Seine[3]. L'organisation générale de l'association est de la responsabilité du secrétaire général[4].
Membres
Début 2011, l'organisation compte plus de 100 membres au sein d'une vingtaine de pays[5] :
- des fabricants dans le domaine de l'aéronautique (avion, équipement aéroporté, système ATM, équipement terrestre) ;
- des fournisseurs de services ;
- des autorités nationales et internationales de l'aviation civile ;
- des utilisateurs (compagnies aériennes, directions d'aéroports, opérateurs).
