Bützow est un petite ville du Mecklembourg-Poméranie-Occidentale en Allemagne du nord-est. Elle fait partie de l'arrondissement de Rostock. Sa population était de 7 681 habitants au 31 décembre 2010. Sa population était d'environ 10 000 habitants avant la réunification allemande. Elle est donc en diminution constante.
