August von Wassermann

August Paul von Wassermann (né le 21 février 1866 à in Bamberg, mort le 16 mars 1925 à Berlin) était un immunologiste et bactériologue allemand. Il est l'un des médecins à l'origine de la mise au point de la réaction Bordet-Wassermann, encore utilisée parfois de nos jours pour le dépistage de la syphilis. Il est également un des signataires du Manifeste des 93.
