Histoire de la principauté
L'ancêtre des dirigeants du Baria est Râwal Patai, le dernier roi Chauhan de Champaner (fin XVe siècle).
La principauté s'est maintenue jusqu'en 1948 puis a été intégrée à l'État du Goujerat.
