Yo Momma est une émission de télé-réalité diffusée sur la chaîne MTV de 2006 à 2007, créée et présentée par Wilmer Valderrama, Jason Everhart, Sam Sarpong (saisons 1 et 2) et Destiny Lightsy (saison 3). En France, l'émission est diffusée sur MTV.

Concept

Dans chaque épisode de Yo Momma, le présentateur Wilmer Valderrama organise des battles de "ta mère" aux États-Unis. Le grand vainqueur de ces joutes verbales repartira avec le pactole. Des participants issus des divers quartiers de chaque ville s'affrontent lors de duels jusqu'à la grande finale où la "plus grande gueule" de la ville est désignée.

La première saison se déroule à Los Angeles, la deuxième à New York et la troisième et dernière saison a lieu à Atlanta.

De nombreux artistes issus du hip hop ont participé à l'émission en qualité de jury : Method Man, Mike Jones, Chingy, Ne-Yo, Jadakiss, E-40, Fat Joe, Chamillionaire, Ying Yang Twins, Bow Wow, Jermaine Dupri, Frankie J.
