Financière Sun Life inc. (Sun Life Financial Inc. en anglais) est une entreprise canadienne qui fait partie de l'indice S&P/TSX 60.
Historique
La Sun Life fut fondée en avril 1871. Elle se limitait alors, suite à l'adoption d'une loi, à la vente d'assurances contre les accidents et à l'assurance-vie. Son fondateur, Monsieur Mathew Hamilton Gault, était un immigrant d'Irlande du Nord. Le siège social fut à Montréal de 1871 à 1978 alors qu'il est déplacé à Toronto.
