Le MS Star est un ferry rapide de la compagnie estonienne Tallink, opérant sur la route maritime entre Helsinki (Finlande) et Tallinn (Estonie). Il a été construit en 2006 par les chantiers Aker Yards de Helsinki, Finlande. Star est le premier ferry rapide à pouvoir effectuer son service tout au long de l'année sur la ligne Helsinki — Tallinn[1].
La conception du navire est fortement inspirée du SeaFrance Rodin, construit par Aker Finnyards pour SeaFrance en 2001[2] .
