Stanley Gibbons Ltd est une maison d'édition philatélique britannique. Elle vend également des timbres-poste, du matériel pour les collectionner, et organise des ventes aux enchères.

Elle a été fondée en 1856 par Edward Stanley Gibbons, alors encore apprenti dans la pharmacie paternelle. L'objectif était de vendre un lot important de timbres triangulaires de la colonie du Cap.

Depuis novembre 1865, elle édite des catalogues de timbres, actuellement très réputés parmi les collectionneurs anglo-saxons. Les catalogues Stanley Gibbons comportent les cotations, mais donnent également un grand nombre d'informations sur les timbres.

Le mensuel Gibbons Stamp Monthly domine également les magazines philatéliques.

Depuis 1893, l'entreprise a son siège social au 399 Strand, dans le centre de Londres. En 1914, elle a été déclarée fournisseur royal (royal warrant) par le roi George V.

En 2006, l'entreprise a réalisé un bénéfice avant impôt de 3,746 millions de livres sterling. Elle réalise 54 % de ses ventes au Royaume-Uni. Internet représente 9% de son activité[1].
