Thara Saw Ni
Thara Saw Ni [ ?.- …]. Grand technicien de Lethwei des années 1910 aux années 1940, réputé pour ses esquives, ses coups de tête et ses techniques de jambe. Il est considéré pour être le plus grand technicien de Lethwei karen (système de boxe kayah). Même après l’âge de quarante ans, il continue à vaincre ses adversaires beaucoup plus jeunes. La plupart de ses combats sont organisés par les karens et en Thaïlande. Il a défini les missions du « système martial des moines ». Il a eu comme élève, le grand expert émigré aux États-Unis, Maung Gyi.
