Un Royalist était un partisan de Charles Ier durant la Première révolution anglaise. Ceux-ci s'opposaient aux Parliamentarians.

On note particulièrement les Cavaliers. Les plus mémorables d'entre ceux-ci sont les cavaliers ayant servi sous le Prince Rupert.
