The Royal Regiment of Canada est un régiment d’infanterie des Forces armées canadiennes qui a fait partie du débarquement de Dieppe et de Normandie et qui prit part aux opérations de la bataille de Normandie lors de la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
Histoire

The Royal Regiment of Canada fait partie avec les Black Watch of Canada du désastreux débarquement de Dieppe le 19 août 1942 où ils subissent d'énormes pertes ; les plus importantes que des troupes canadiennes eurent à subir.
The Royal Regiment of Canada fait aussi partie des troupes canadiennes qui débarquent en Normandie et participe à la bataille de Normandie en 1944. Il prend part au sein de la 2e division canadienne aux opérations Atlantic, Spring et Totalize pour la prise de Falaise.
