Aruna ou Arun - rose ou aurore - est le nom donné au conducteur du char de Sûrya, le dieu soleil de la mythologie indienne. Le dieu Aruna a donné son nom à l'État indien de l'Arunachal Pradesh, le « pays de l'Aurore ».
