Nokturnal Mortum est un groupe de black metal ukrainien formé en 1994 par Knjaz Varggoth. Ce groupe a la particularité d'appartenir au courant national socialist black metal (NSBM). Cette fascination pour l'idéologie nationale socialiste ressort par exemple sans ambiguité dans le titre The Call Of Aryan Spirit [1] . Outre le national socialisme, Nokturnal Mortum aborde dans sa musique des thèmes tels que le paganisme, la nature et le folklore ukrainien.
