Lullaby of Birdland
Lullaby of Birdland est une chanson composée en 1952 par George Shearing. Les paroles sont de B. Y. Forster. Le titre est en l'honneur de "Bird" (Charlie Parker) et du Birdland, club de jazz de New York en l'honneur de Charlie Parker.
Le morceaux a été enregistré par de nombreux chanteurs/chanteuses et instrumentistes dont Ella Fitzgerald, Mina, Sarah Vaughan. Bill Haley et ses Comets ont enregistré une version twist "Lullaby of Birdland Twist" en 1962.
Blossom Dearie et ses chanteuses chantaient une version à succès en France, en français en 1954.
