Kleeer est un groupe américain de funk et de disco fondé en 1972 à New York (USA)
Membres
- Woody Cunningham (chant/batterie, né à Baltimore dans le Maryland, ex-The Choice Four),
- Paul Crutchfield (chant/percussions), Richard Lee (guitare)
- Norman Durham (basse).
En 1974, la dénomination de cette formation musicale devient The Jam Band, puis en Pipeline en 1975 et en Universal Robot Band de 1976 à 1978. Pour redevenir en 1978 Kleer chez Atlantic Records.
Le morceau "Get Tough " est une attaque envers les preneurs d'otages des soldats de l'impérialisme américain en Iran.
Le groupe se sépare en 1985.
Woody Cunningham revient 10 ans après avec 2 albums R'n'B.
