Just-Ice

Just-Ice est le nom de scène du rappeur américain old school Joseph Williams. Né le juin 1962 à Fort Green, Brooklyn, il est l'un des premiers rappeurs à afficher une attitude agressive au cours de ses chansons (rap hardcore ou gangsta rap), sans tomber toutefois ni dans la vulgarité ni la profanité.

À l'âge de treize ans, il adhère à The Nation of Gods and Earths, aussi appelée Five-Percent Nation (of Islam).

Il choisit le nom de Just-Ice en 1986 pour la sortie de son premier album, Back to the Old School. Ce nom est dérivé du nom qu'il s'est pris dans le cadre des Five Percenter.
