All That Remains est un groupe originaire des États-Unis mélangeant metalcore et death metal mélodique avec des influences thrash metal. Il utilise toute une combinaison de gridding riffs et des rythmes qu'utilisent les légendes du death metal, mais c'est aussi la fluidité entre le son lourd des guitares et du chant metalcore de Labonte (chant).

Biographie

Créé en 1998 dans le Massachusetts par le guitariste Oli Herbert et avec l'aide de Philip Labonte (chant), All That Remains a marqué la scène underground du métal avec leur premier album Behind Silence And Solitude.

Puis grâce à l'arrivée d'un deuxième guitariste dans le groupe, Mike Martin, ils ont pu réaliser un second album This Darkened Heart en 2004. Depuis leur second album ils n'ont eu de cesse de monter sur scène aux côtés des plus prestigieux, tels que Gwar, The Crown, Arch Enemy, Darkest Hour, Shadows Fall, As I Lay Dying, Lamb Of God et Disturbed.

Ils ont fini par s'arrêter pour avoir le temps d'enregistrer leur troisième album. Finalement The Fall Of Ideals paraît en 2006.

2007 marque l'année de leur tout premier DVD Live enregistré à Baltimore ainsi qu'à Philadelphie. Il s'intitule ALL THAT REMAINS LIVE. Leur chanson Six est parue dans le jeu vidéo Guitar Hero 2 ainsi que This Calling, Two Weeks et Chiron que l'on peut acheter pour le jeu Rock Band. De plus, la piste This Calling parait dans le générique du film Saw 3 (Décadence 3).

En 2008, ils sortent un nouvel album appelé Overcome.

Les singles Chiron, Two Weeks et Forever In Your Hands sont aussi sortis depuis.

Leur dernier album, For we are many, est sorti le 12 octobre 2010.
