Itagaki Taisuke (板垣 退助), né le 21 mai 1837, mort le 16 juillet 1919, était un homme politique japonais à la tête du Mouvement pour la liberté et les droits du peuple (Jiyu Minken Undō), qui finit par devenir le premier parti politique japonais.

C'est une figure emblématique du libéralisme du Japon de l'ère Meiji.
