Herman II de Celje ou de Cillei (vers 1365, † 13 octobre 1435 à Bratislava), comte de Celje (1385) et ban de Slavonie (1423-1435).
Il est le véritable véritable fondateur de la maison de Celje. En 1396, il sauve la vie du roi Sigismond de Hongrie à Nicopolis. Il devient le conseiller et confident du roi et reçoit en récompense des domaines en Croatie, notamment le comté de Seger et la ville de Varaždin (1397). La politique de faveur accordé par Sigismond à son égard suscite la jalousie d’autres familles et le roi est jeté en prison par les barons rebelles en 1401. Herman obtient finalement sa libération. Sigismond épouse en seconde noces sa fille Barbe Cillei en 1408. Grâce à sa politique matrimoniale, Herman met une grande partie de la Slovénie et la Croatie dans la main des Celje.
