Alcinoos
Dans la mythologie grecque, Alkinoos (en grec ancien Ἀλκίνοος / Alkínoos) est le fils de Nausithoos et le roi des mythiques Phéaciens.
Alkinoos épouse sa nièce Arété, fille de son frère Rhexénor. Il en a cinq fils et une fille, Nausicaa.
Il accueille les Argonautes qui fuient de Colchide. À leur arrivée, il ordonne que si Médée est encore vierge, elle doit retourner vers son père. Jason et Médée consommeront rapidement leur mariage.
Il accueille aussi Ulysse naufragé qui lui contera ses aventures et, malgré les menaces de Poséidon, Alkinoos l'aidera à repartir. Poséidon transformera le nouveau navire d'Ulysse en roc et bouchera ainsi le port des Phéaciens d'une montagne.
Alkinoos faisait l'objet d'un culte héroïque dans la ville de Corcyre (un des deux ports de la ville portant d'ailleurs son nom).
