Le soda au gingembre[1], ou ginger ale en anglais, est un soda légèrement aromatisé au gingembre.
Il entre dans la composition de nombreux cocktails, mélangé à des alcools (gin, whisky, rhum...) ou des jus de fruits (pomme, ananas...).
On le distingue de la ginger beer, autre boisson gazeuse aux ingrédients similaires mais au goût de gingembre plus prononcé.
La marque la plus connue en France est Canada Dry, dont la recette fut mise au point en 1904 par John J. McLaughlin à Toronto.
