Gérard Prunier
Gérard Prunier est un historien français spécialisé dans la Corne de l'Afrique et l'Afrique de l'Est.
Biographie
Gérard Prunier a obtenu un doctorat en histoire africaine en 1981 de l'Université de Paris. En 1984, il rejoint l'institution scientifique du CNRS à Paris en tant que chercheur. Plus tard, il a également été nommé Directeur du Centre français d'études éthiopiennes à Addis-Abeba. Prunier a publié plus de 120 articles et cinq livres. Il maîtrise le français, l'anglais et l'espagnol. Il a aussi une bonne connaissance de l'italien et de l'allemand[réf. nécessaire].
