Palexpo
Palexpo (Palais des expositions) est le complexe d'expositions de Genève (Suisse). Le centre est par la suite renommé Geneva Palexpo pour améliorer son identification sur le plan international.
Geneva Palexpo est situé sur la commune du Grand-Saconnex (canton de Genève) aux abords de l'aéroport international de Genève. Sa construction débute en 1977. Les premiers bâtiments sont inaugurés le 18 décembre 1981. S'étendant au départ sur une surface de 58 000 m², sa superficie augmente à trois reprises avec la halle 5, inaugurée en janvier 1987, la halle 7 (février 1995) et enfin la halle 6 (février 2003). En 23 ans, sa surface double pratiquement en passant à 111 000 m². Une salle de concert de 9 500 places (Geneva Arena) est ajoutée au complexe en 1995.
