Friedrich Berger est un Allemand né en Saxe en 1911 et meurt le 10 février 1960 à Munich .
Il sera recruté par l'Abwehr en 1933. Il participera pendant la guerre au marché noir pour l'armée allemande et parallèlement de l'information pour faire tomber des réseaux de marché noir et de résistants. Il constitua une équipe d'une trentaine de personnes plus ou moins louches qui ont fait tomber plusieurs réseaux résistants . Son équipe était connu comme "la Gestapo de la rue de la Pompe" dont le siège était au n° 180
