FATX est une version légèrement modifiée du système de fichier FAT créée pour le disque dur de la console Xbox dans le but de réduire le piratage informatique. Les principales différences avec FAT sont l'abandon d'informations présentes pour des raisons de compatibilité et de données redondantes. FATX est également utilisé par les cartes mémoire de la Xbox.
