Exhorder était un groupe de thrash formé à la Nouvelle-Orléans en Louisiane au cours des années 1980. Ils sont parfois considérés comme des pionniers du son et du style défini comme le groove metal (appelé aussi Post-Thrash ou encore US Power Metal). Le groupe splitta dix ans après sa formation.
