David d'Huntingdon (1144 – 17 juin 1219) était le 3e fils d'Henry de Northumberland et d'Ada de Warenne. Il fut comte de Huntingdon de 1185 à 1219 et héritier présomptif du royaume d'Écosse de 1214 à sa mort.
Biographie
En 1185, il hérite du comté d'Huntingdon après la mort de son cousin Simon III de St Lyz.
Union et postérité
Le 26 août 1190, il épousa Maude de Chester, fille d'Hugues de Kevelioc. Le couple aura 4 enfants :
Littérature
Parti guerroyer loin de sa patrie, il fut, sur le chemin du retour, le héros d'aventures romanesques. Il a inspiré à Walter Scott le personnage de Kenneth, dans Le Talisman[1].
