David Lawrence Geffen (né le 21 février 1943 à Brooklyn) est un producteur (musique, films, théâtre). Il est surtout connu pour avoir créé Asylum Records en 1971 et Geffen Records en 1980. Il est également l'un des créateurs de DreamWorks SKG. Il est la 141e fortune mondiale en 2006 et, selon Forbes, la 154e en 2010[1].
Né à New York, Geffen est entré à l'Université du Texas à Austin mais a rapidement abandonné[1].
