Le Coucou violet (Chrysococcyx xanthorhynchus) est une espèce d'oiseau de la famille des Cuculidae. Son aire de répartition s'étend sur l’Inde, le Bhoutan, le Bangladesh, , la Birmanie, la Chine, le Viêt-Nam, le Laos, la Thaïlande, la Malaisie, Singapour, le Brunei, l’Indonésie et les Philippines. Il est rare au Cambodge.
