Children In Need est une émission annuelle de la BBC depuis 1980. Elle permet de récolter des fonds pour les enfants pauvres et/ou malades. A cette occasion, certaines séries TV de la BBC peuvent tourner un très court épisode comme l'ont fait Doctor Who (2005 et 2007) ou EastEnders (2005), ou reprendre une chanson comme l'ont fait les acteurs de la série Holby City en 2006 avec Hung Up de Madonna. Cette émission peut être comparée au Téléthon français même s'il en existe plusieurs au Royaume-Uni. "Children in need" est également le titre d'un épisode de la série britannique Doctor Who, crée d'ailleurs spécialement pour l'émission de charité.
Synopsis
L'histoire fait le lien entre la fin de la saison 1 et l'épisode spécial L'invasion de Noël. Rose découvre le nouveau visage du Docteur.
