- Trois têtes en granit noir, gris et rouge du pharaon Sésostris III. Statues du pharaon Amenemhat III (granit noir, basalte noir) vers -1830. Statue du roi Hor (-1820).
Science et technique
- Amenemhat III entreprend l’exploitation économique du Fayoum (irrigation) et fait assécher les marécages et former le lac Moéris (lac Qaroun, Mer our, en égyptien). Une écluse commande l’apport de l’eau. Un barrage protège la vallée contre la crue du Nil.
