Britt Lomond

Britt Lomond est un acteur américain d'origine écossaise, né Glase Britt Lohman le 12 avril 1925 à Chicago dans l'Illinois et mort le 22 mars 2006 à Huntington Beach en Californie. Il est connu principalement pour son rôle du commandant Monastario, jeune et pimpant officier espagnol, ennemi juré de Zorro, durant les 13 premiers épisodes de la série télévisée Zorro produite par Walt Disney.

Biographie

Diplômé de New York University, vétéran de la Seconde Guerre mondiale et de la guerre de Corée, il était parachutiste et hautement décoré.

Il commence alors une carrière au cinéma et à la télévision non seulement en tant qu'acteur mais aussi en tant que réalisateur et producteur.

Il fut la doublure de Mel Ferrer dans le film Scaramouche (1952).

Il était marié et avait deux enfants .
