Le Bristol City Football Club est un club anglais de football fondé en 1894. Le club, basé à Bristol, évolue pour la saison 2008-2009 en Championship (deuxième division anglaise).

Le club promu en Championship lors de la saison 2007-2008 termine à la 4ème place du championnat. Cette 4ème place permet a Bristol City de jouer les barrages d'accession en Premier League. Ils se sont qualifiés pour la finale de ces barrages, après avoir éliminé Crystal Palace (2-1 / 2-1). En finale, Bristol City s'incline finalement contre Hull City (1-0).

Fondé en 1894 sous le nom de « Bristol South End », le club adopte un statut professionnel en 1897 et est rebaptisé « Bristol City FC ». Il rejoint la League en 1901 (Division 2).

Les Robins évoluent maillot et short bleu marine entre 1894 et 1987 puis adoptent un short blanc. Á noter une tentative de short noir dans les années 1950, vite abandonnée.
