Booligal (42 habitants) est un hameau de la province de la Riverina en Nouvelle-Galles-du-Sud en Australie situé au nord de Hay sur la rivière Lachlan à 757 km de Sydney.

L'origine du nom est aborigène mais plusieurs traductions ont été proposées: "zone de vents", "grand marais" ou "endroit des eucalyptus immergés"
