Bloodaxe est un super-vilain créé par Marvel Comics. Il est apparu pour la première fois dans Thor #449, en 1992.
Origine
Le passé de la femme devenue Bloodaxe, Jackie Lukus, est inconnu.
On sait qu'elle trouva la hache mystique de Skurge l'Exécuteur, et qu'elle devint Bloodaxe. Elle affronta la police et massacra des dealers de drogue. Elle combattit par la suite Thor (identité alors portée par Eric Masterson) et le Docteur Strange, puis Earth Force.
Quand le véritable Thor revint, Masterson prit l'identité de Thunderstrike et il affronta Bloodaxe plusieurs fois. Il lui confisqua la hache mais tomba victime de sa corruption magique, cherchant à augmenter son pouvoir pour vaincre Set, le Dieu Serpent. Set fut vaincu, mais Masterson succomba à la malédiction de l'arme et commença un carnage. Pour se libérer du joug de la hache, Masterson se suicida.
Thor détruisit la hache grâce au pouvoir d'Odin.
On ignore ce qu'est devenue Jackie Lukus.
Pouvoirs
- Bloodaxe est l'incarnation de la malédiction transmise par la hache de l'Exécuteur. Un humain en colère qui entre en contact avec la hache se transforme en Bloodaxe, un Asgardien en armure. Il possède alors la force et la résistance d'un Asgardien, en plus de solides compétences au combat corps-à-corps. Si le porteur lâche la hache plus de 60 secondes, il reprend sa forme.
- La hache transmet aussi une agressivité donnant goût au combat et au meurtre.
- L'arme mystique est virtuellement indestructible et elle peut, comme Mjolnir, être utilisée pour dévier les balles. Elle permet aussi à son porteur d'ouvrir des portails dimensionnels, ou de le téléporter à un endroit qu'il a déjà visité.
- La hache peut projeter de la glace ou du feu, générer des ouragans ou même des rayons de force mystique.
- La densité de Bloodaxe et son armure mystique le protège de toute arme à feu et des flammes.
