Point S est une marque de pneumatique et d'entretien automobile française créée en 1972.
En 1988, son reseau s'étend en Allemagne et en Italie. Puis à l'Autriche en 1997, Belgique et Luxembourg en 1999. En 2001, L'Espagne, le Danemark et la Pologne confirment les ambitions européennes de la marque. Il y a alors à l'époque 800 points de vente. En 2002, La Hongrie se rajoute à la liste, 950 enseignes; ce qui en fait le 2e reseau européen. En 2007, l'Europe compte 1550 points de vente, dont 350 en France. Enfin, aujourd'hui Point S compte 1700 points de vente, 360 en France et Dom-Tom et est présent dans 17 pays.
Les principaux concurrents de Point S en France s'appelent Speedy, Midas, Feu Vert, Euromaster.
