OKUBO Hiroshi est un maître japonais de karaté Shukokai. Il enseigne à Coulommiers (entre autres) depuis 1979.
Carrière
Maître OKUBO Hiroshi est originaire de Kochi-Ken (Préfecture de Kōchi sur l'ile de Shikoku au sud du Japon) ou il est né en 1947.
Élève de Tani Chōjirō à partir de 1963, il apprend auprès du maître toutes les techniques et subtilités du Karaté style Shūkōkai [1](qui veut dire: le chemin pour tous), une obédience du Tani-ha Shitō-ryū.
Hiroshi arrive en France en 1975 ou il rejoint Omi Noaki[2] (Directeur Technique Européen au KOFUKAN International, Expert mondial du KOFUKAN), à la demande de maître Tani.
En 1979 il est diplômé d'état (N°757924) et prend la suite de maître SUZUKI pour l'enseignement du karaté au club Shūkōkai de Coulommiers (Seine et Marne) Kscoulommiers.
Il reçoit son cinquième Dan en 1980, il a alors 33 ans, à l'occasion de la coupe d'Europe qui se déroule à Peterborough en Angleterre.
Maître Okubo reçoit son 6e Dan de Maître TANI qui s'est déplacé en Europe en 1986.
Quelques années plus tard (1997) il obtient son septième Dan lors de la Coupe Internationale Kofukan à Crystal Palace près de Londres ou le titre lui est remis par maître Tani qui effectue là un des ses derniers voyage en Europe.
En 2010 il obtient son 8e Dan fédéral.
