Entangle est un logiciel libre de capture et contrôle d'appareil photo numérique (apn) pour environnement graphique GTK.
Il utilise la bibliothèque gPhoto pour communiquer avec les APN qui le supportent.
Il est possible, comme dans GTKam ou Darktable, de configurer les différents paramètres de prise de vue directement via l'interface, et comme GTKam et DigiKam d'avoir une vue temps réelle du viseur avant la capture. Il a l'avantage par rapport à ces deux autres logiciels d'être spécialisé dans la capture et l'interface à donc été optimisée pour cette tâche.
