Classification ACRISS

La classification ACRISS est un système de classification de véhicules utilisé par de nombreux loueurs de véhicules[1]. ACRISS est l'acronyme de Association of Car Rental Industry Systems and Standards.

Codes standard

Les codes ACRISS sont composé des quatre lettres. Chaque lettre décrit une ou plusieurs caractéristiques du véhicule.

  • IDAR - Intermediate, 4-doors, automatic gearbox and air-conditioning (ex. Vauxhall Insignia ou Renault Megane Scénic)
  • ECMN - Economy, 2/4 doors, manual gearbox, no air-conditioning (ex. Ford Fiesta ou Opel Corsa)

Pseudo codes

Les pseudo codes sont également des codes à quatre lettres. Ces codes ont été créés afin de pouvoir décrire facilement certains types de véhicules. La différence avec les codes standards, est que les lettres non pas de sens individuellement. Ils peuvent être reconnus par le fait qu'il commencent par la lettre A.
