Cameria (appelé aussi Camerium) était une ville latine située au nord-est de Rome. Elle est citée par différentes sources à l'époque de la Monarchie romaine[1]. La ville est mentionnée par Plutarque comme ayant été combattue par Romulus, qui tua 6 000 de ses habitants et installa une colonie romaine, seize ans après la fondation de Rome[2]. Il est possible que Cameria ait été auparavant une colonie d'Albe la Longue. Elle fut détruite par les Romains définitivement en 502 avant J.-C.[3].
