Assault Attack

Assault Attack est le troisième album studio du Michael Schenker Group. Produit, enregistré et mixé par le célèbre Martin Birch, l'album a été enregistré en France au Château d'Hérouville et mixé aux Musicland Studios de Munich. Pour l'enregistrement de cet album de mai à juillet 1982, le management du Michael Schenker Group et Chrysalis Records mettent à la disposition du guitariste Michael Schenker de très gros moyens financiers et humains :

  • Graham Bonnet au chant
  • Chris Glen à la basse
  • Ted McKenna à la batterie qui remplace en urgence Cozy Powell viré en avril 1982 après une violente altercation avec Michael Schenker quelques semaines avant le début des sessions d'enregistrement
  • Tommy Eyre aux claviers, crédité mais ne fait pas partie officiellement du Michael Schenker Group
  • Martin Birch à la production, en fait dirige totalement l'enregistrement de cet album.
