Anonymous est un film réalisé en Allemagne par Roland Emmerich dont la sortie est prévue pour le 16 novembre 2011.
Synopsis
L'histoire d'Édouard de Vere, 17e comte d'Oxford, qui s'est avéré être l'auteur de toutes les pièces de William Shakespeare sur fond de succession du trône de la reine Élisabeth Ire d'Angleterre entre le clan Tudor et le clan Cecil.

Ce long-métrage est le premier de son réalisateur en Allemagne depuis qu'il l'a quitté il y a 20 ans pour Hollywood. Petit budget de 30 millions d'euros après des grosses productions comme 2012, il revient avec ce projet anciennement intitulé "Soul of the age" datant de plusieurs années, jamais concrétisé sur un sujet polémique, la paternité des œuvres de William Shakespeare. Conjointement produit par Centropolis et le studio allemand Babenberg, le tournage débute en mars 2010 avec une distribution exclusivement britannique.
